Anyone have any opinions on hermeticism? It seems like a very believable religion, and even if it might not be true, its specific Wisdoms of the Known Universe have somewhat modern applications.
Alchemy=Chemistry Astrology=Astronomy Theurgy=Jesus Powers?(skip that) Anyways, it connects the planes of existence upon which Hermeticists believed. The earth, the heavens(or outer space for a more contemporary feel) and the divinity, which has yet to be proven. Plus, Hermes Trismegistos sounds like a pretty swell guy. Just like Jesus. (Are they same? Separated at birth? Are these mindless questions?)
It sounds like a very enlightening addition to mythology, if only accepted as so.
