We're gay because we're magical beings that walk between the sexes and understand both. For that reason we were shamans and respected counselors in tribes once and our duties included things like this. We were high priests for goddesses. With all of that, perhaps patriarchal society thought we might just become too powerful. Modern society just doesn't remember why we're here. Their loss. Until they remember, we'll decorate and make things and people look fabulous.

However, I'll never understand NASCAR. Nor will I understand why women refuse to band together to say FUCK HIGH HEEL SHOES. So my gay wisdom may have been asleep too long.
