or...Electrical Genital Stimulation is another misunderstood erotic toy.
There are two types of E-Stimming power sources:
1.) "Stereo-Stimming" with 120 V AC wall Current using the speaker terminals of a Stereo Amplifier(NOT RECCOMENDED!)
2.) E-Stimming using a TENS Unit.
Tens units are sold as Medical Devices to stimulate nerve endings to relieve chronic pain,but if the standard "pad type" electrodes are replaced with homeade copper or stainless wire trodes these can be made into one hell of a CHEAP E-Stim Toy!
Stereo Stimming uses ac wall current and "Sine Waves" of electrical impulses to stim the genitals,becuase of the possiblility/probability of an electrical short and the FULL 120 volts surging through your genitals this method is not only dangerous but not reccomended.There are cases on the Web where Men have been electrocuted via their Penis from "Stereo-Stimming".
A TENS uses DC Battery(9-V) to send Low Aplitude DC Current through the Muscles to the nerve endings. You will scream from Pain from this unit if turned all the way UP but a 9V battery is incapable of electrocuting a man.
I use an "Intellect TENS Unit" my guy bought off the web,along with my custom made copper electrodes. be SURE to use Plenty of Electrostatic Gel when Stimming or the electrodes can create "hot spots" on the genitals. I use "AquaSound" Ultrasound transmission Gel available at medical supply stores.
